Cannot add printer to Chooser in Word OS X

When I attempt to print, i am alerted "Cannot Print. Please select a
printer from the chooser." My options are fax print and
appleshare, neither of which will permit me to print. I am working
in OS 9 and 10.1.5 with Word in OS9. I seem to have no
problems printing from Explorer and Text edit on OS 10 however.
Perhaps I need to find Word X.

Do you have a printer in your network?
Or you are trying to print on printer attached to ur machine?
