I'm collaborating with others who are pasting Visio drawings into a shared
Word document and find that I can only edit the drawings that I pasted.
1) If I pasted the drawing:
Right click > Select: Visio Object > Select: Open = Launches Visio (good)
2) If I did not paste the drawing:
Right click > Select: Microsoft Visio Drawing Object > Select: Convert >
Select: OK = Error: "Server, application, source file could not be found"
message. (not good)
Notes:
I receive two different menu options and the only option under scenario #2
is "Convert".
We are all using the standard paste method and I've verified that the
drawing creator can edit the same drawing that I cannot.
Is there something associated to the creator, owner of the visio drawing
that controls this behavior?
