Cannot apply Office 2003 SP update due to missing SKU0A1.CAB file

Hello,

When trying to update Office 2003, I get the error: A
required installation file SKU0A1.CAB could not be found.

I checked the original Office 2003 CD I used to install
Office and the file is not on there either.

Please help!

I am getting a similar message but the file missing is
SKU113.CAB.

I did a search on my hard drives, not found; I used the
repair tool then the reinstallation within Office 2003
CD, none worked. I am thinking of de-installing and re-
installing.

The "funny" thing is that things were working fine until
I tried to download the SP1 Office update. I got the
error message from this time on, while the update would
not work; then I am getting this anytime I try to launch
Excel (Word, Outlook and PowerPoint are still working
fine). When launching Excel, the small "installation"
window pops up, then I get the same error message asking
me to provide a path for this SKU113.CAB file; even if I
map toward the installation CD, it would not work.

Any help appreciated!

If you have installed Excel as a separate application try inserting the
Excel CD. If you have any other component try to insert that CD instead of
the Office CD. Worked for me with Outlook and Office.

Hi

I am getting exactly the same message when I try to install SP1 for
Office 2003. Did you manage to find a solution, other than a complete
re-install?

I didn't install anything from seperate CDs. Just curious is all.
Complete re-install is a last ditch effort for me really.
