Cannot be blank box "greyed out"

Hi all,

I have placed a text box on my form and then binded it to a data source. I
am now not able to select the Cannot be Blank checkbox in the properties
form. I need to be able to set the form so that the end user cannot submit
the form until 2 fields are filled in, but without the cannot be blank field
not being able to be selected, is really causing me issues.

Can any help out?
