Cannot build the OLAP Cube : Cannot connect to Analysis Services

Hello,
I installed PS 2007 on a small network with 2 servers : 1 DC server with
Active Directory, and a Member Server. SQL Server 2005 and Analysis Services
(and Project Server) are installed on the Member server.

When I'm trying to build the OLAP Cube via PWA on a workstation of the
network, I receive the error message:

Error :
===== Operation ended =====
[09/07/2008 18:41] Failure of the OLAP cubes building. Error : Failure of
the Analysis Services session , with the following error : Failure of the
connection to the Analysis Services server Dellservermbr. Error : Your
permissions on the computer of the server don't allow you to administrate
this analysis server.
Error :

NB : On the DC, I selected my user name as a member of the OLAP
Administrator group.
What I'm missing? Any idea?

Hi Robert,

In addition to what Paul is mentioning, there are many reasons why you
cannot connect to the Analysis Service Cube in Project Server. I am assuming
you are using PS2007.

Paul,

Yes, I added the SSP service account to the OLAP Admins group, without any
success ;-(

I have the exact same problem. I have installed all components, checked and
rererechecked permissions and still no success..
