cannot by pass user password

I have an older computer which uses windows 98. my young son entered a user password at set up and has now forgotten the password. As a result we can no longer even get past the set up section and cannot start up windows. I am passing this computer to my sister who has a young son in need of it as we have a new one and it is obviously no good to her if we cant even get windows started. I would be grateful for any advise.

The microsoft.public.infopath newsgroup is for Microsoft InfoPath.
Windows 98 questsions should be asked in one of the
microsoft.public.win98 groups.

Follow-up set to microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion and
microsoft.public.win98.setup.

Regards,
Steve
