Cannot change a part of a merged cell

When i paste a single cell to a merged cell. This err
display. How can i resolve it.

Don't use merged cells.
Unmerge them, copy/paste, merge them.
As I have stated earlier, you can basically get
the same layout with workarounds with none of the many
drawbacks. I have yet to find a good use for merged cells that is not
taken away by all the bad things..
