Most of our users use Office in a terminal services
environment. However, we have one user who needs to
constantly change file attributes (read-only, etc). We've
shown him better ways to do what he wants, but you know
them users...anyway, if he maps to the network location
directly from his machine, he can change the attribs on
any file using Explorer. However, if he's in TS, brings
up Word and using the Open dialog attempts to change the
attribs, he can do it only on non-office docs (rtf, csv,
etc). Office docs he can't. If he does the same via
Notepad, he can change the attribs on any file. He has
full control of this folder.
