cannot change part of an array

The referenced subject message occurs when I attempt to edit an array. I cannot clear, delete, or edit the formula. I've never had this problem before.

The referenced subject message occurs when I attempt to edit an array. I
cannot clear, delete, or edit the formula. I've never had this problem
before.

This is normal behavior unless you array-enter (CMD-RETURN) to apply the
edit to the entire array.
