I have a text list that I am trying to convert to a table. It is a list of writings which each line alternating between titles and author. I want to create a table with titles in one column and rows in another. In Windows Office, I would slect the text, choose "Convert Text to Table," select "paragraphs" as the text separator then change columns to "2." Everytime I've ever done this (for years and years) the "Rows" number was cut in half and Office would alternate the lines between the columns. In Mac Office 2008, the "Rows" counter remains the same at "52" regardless of whether I choose "1," "2," etc. I cannot select the rows number to change it either. Any ideas what I'm missing?
