Internet Explorer hung up and I had to force it (CAD). When it closed,
Word was also semi-frozen. I had about 6 document open and I could
task switch between them, but the document windows were all blank and
if if tried to close them, I got an error message saying Word cannot
close, sorry.
Finally, I clicked End Now. Word came back to life, said it was
recovering, then seemed fine. I did not get a recovery panel.
I task switched to each document and did a save, which worked. Then,
when I tried to close any of them, I got the message above that a
dialog box was open. I minimized everything, but cannot find a dialog
box of any kind.
Any clues how I get out of this mess?
