Cannot connect pp 2007 client to ps 2007

Hi all,

I am new to project server and client systems and am having trouble
connecting pp 2007 client to PS 2007. This is a stand alone installation and
all components are installed on the same system.

I can login through the URl http://serverip/pwa no problem there but when i
try to login using the client I get an access denied message box. All users
on the server have the permission to connect project professional checked.

Can someone point out clear instructions on what is needed to get project
professional 2007 client connecting to this server? I like the server
software but it is useless if the client will not connect to it.
