I am getting the error message below. I looked in the troubleshooting
section and the resolution is use the proxy server (we don't use proxy) or
trust internet site - I tried this but it still doesn't work. Any one with
any ideas for a work around. I am using Project professional 2002 connecting
to project server 2003 running on XP.

Thanks

Microsoft Project cannot access the Microsoft Project Server
http://server/projectserver.

Please check the Server URL in the Collaborate tab of the Options dialog box
(Tools menu). Make sure the server is functioning correctly, and is a valid
Microsoft Project 2002 Server. Note that you cannot display pages from a
Microsoft Project 2000 server inside Microsoft Project 2002.

Retry accessing the Microsoft Project Server - http://server/projectserver

First, make sure that Project Server 2003 is configured to permit users to
connect using Project Pro 2002.

My fault it is actuall proejct server 2002 I am using not 2003. My user has
been connecting fine all along. Now I have to log onto the NT account and
then he can get into the project server using a sql connection. If he is
logged on as himself with his NT login he cannot get into the PWA project
server.

Any ideas?

I may not be understanding exactly what you are trying to describe, but I
think you should check to ensure that the user who is having trouble has the
necessary permissions (Groups memberships) so that he is permitted to access
the server and is not Denied permission by any of his Group memberships.
