Cannot copy mail to Archive folder

No matter what e-mail I try to copy to the Archive I
receive an error message stating that I do not have the
privelages to do so. The archive file has about 1gig of
mail, does this effect anything?

PST files are officially limited to 2GB, but problems frequently occur
closer to 1.2 - 1.5 GB in my experience. Try running scanpst.exe against the
file to check for errors. It will take a while for a file of that size, note
(and make sure you make a backup of it first). If errors are found, and
corrected, run scanpst again until it 'comes up clean'.

Even if it doesn't find errors, I'd recommend creating a new archive file &
starting to use that one. Don't want to risk your file going over the size
limit - the recovery tool for that will truncate some data.
