Cannot Creat A New Appointment

I recently upgraded Outlook XP to 2003. All worked fine
until recently. I am not able to add new appointment and
when I try to syn up my PDA I get an Error Code 80004004
and Outlook 2003 will not accept the new entries created
on my PDA. I have searched everywhere for a fix short of
uninstalling and reinstalling. Does anyone know of a
quick fix?
