Cannot create base master in ShapeStudio

I installed the Visio SDK and ran the SSAdmin tool to create the ShapeStudio
database. Checked the SStudio.sql script to ensure the correct Visio version
and units were specified at the bottom. Checked the database to ensure that
the database was created.

Check.

Ran the ShapeStudio add-in from within Visio. Created a new project. Right-clicked
on the project name in the project explorer. Selected "New Base Master".
Entered name and clicked OK.

"The base master could not be created. Please try again."

Can't get past this error message. What to do?

Hello JuneTheSecond,

I actually have SQL Server pre-installed and configured according to the
requirements of ShapeStudio. I was able to run the SSAdmin tool and it created
the database just fine. Within ShapeStudio, I'm able to create a project.
If I then go to SQL Server, I see that the project was created - so it is
talking to the database ok. But when I try to create a new base master,
it fails.
