Cannot create events in public calendar

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Email Client: Exchange

We have a public calendar for our studio, on Entourage 2008 12.1.1 when you create any kind of event or appointment, it gets saved to the user's calendar not the public one.

This does not occur on Entourage 2004, on any patched version up to 11.5.0

We are on Exchange 2003 SP2.

I have personally tested and verified this on two different Macs, one with 10.4.11 and one with 10.5.3, and with multiple users.

Also I have tested this with Outlook 2003 and 2007 with the same public calendar, the event will show up on Entourage 2008 if created on the PC or on Entourage 2004.

Im stumped.

Hi Fred!

By "public calendar" do you mean his Exchange calendar that he can share
to others?

If so, be sure he has set his Exchange account as his default account in
Tools --> Accounts... All calendar items should then be saved to his
default calendar, which will be his Exchange calendar.
