Hi Everyone,
One of our users is having an issue with her Outlook 2003 Calendar.
Following is the info:
ENVIRONMENT: Windows XP SP1, Exchange Server 2003, Outlook 2003
ISSUE: Cannot create new appointments or edit existing appointments.
-- Cannot make new appointments edit exising ones. She can add others
calendars
and modify them.
-- She can share her calendar with somebody else and they can modify it.
TROUBLESHOOTING DONE:
-- Created a new profile.
-- The old profiles are still existing (Control Panel-->Mail-->Show
Profiles-->)
-- Outlook logs on with the default profile even if I configure it to ask
which profile
to load. It does not come up with that option where it asks which
profile to load.
-- Tried to add her calendar to my Outlook but comes up with "Could not open
the
folder".
-- Cannot open her inbox folder as well comes up with the same message
"Unable
to display the folder. The inbox folder could not be opened".
I would be grateful if anyone could throw some light on this before I go on
to deleting all the old and new profiles and create a completely fresh
profile making Outlook to think its running for the first time .."Preparing
Outlook for first use".
Thanks in advance,
Vithal
