Cannot create new page

I have some Visio 2003 Professional documents. I can NO longer insert a new
page into any of them. I can edit them, delete pages but using either the
right-click on the page title or under the Insert dialog, the insert new page
option is disabled. I tried mailing one of my files to a co-worker and they
can insert a new page into the file (so it doesn't seem like a problem w/ the
file). What's wrong?

1. Create a new document, does Insert Page work on this? If so then
that rules out a problem in Visio itself.

2. What type of diagram? Is it one of the standard built-in diagram
types or is it from a 3rd-party add-on?

3. It could be a macro that is disabling the menu. Try this
menu Tools -> Options -> Security
and turn off the five items in the Macro Security section (note what
the settings where so you can put them back later).

It may be a trial version of Visio. I can not remember all the quirks used
to disable trial versions of Visio, but this may be one of them.

1) I cannot add another page in a new document.
2) Basic (built-in) diagram
3) All options were initially selected in Tools/Options/Security, Macro
Security was set to medium. Changed it to unselect all security options and
to set the macro security to low. No effect.

This is not a trial version. It's a company (Northrop Grumman) version that
everyone uses. No one else seems to have this problem.

Try setting security to High or Very High. (put it back to medium
afterwards)
Do you have any add-ins installed?

Tried High and Very High. Neither had an effect (after restarting Visio). I
didn't do the install so how would I check to see if there are add-ins
installed.

menu Tools -> Add-ons will give you a list of some of them
Tools -> Macros will show any active macros that may be removing this
menu.

Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> File Paths will show you any paths for
add-ons and Start up programs.

After reading the post trail, out of curiousity, is it just these files that
are causing you problems? Can you start a new file, and even without drawing
anything, add a new page? It may be that Visio has become corrupted.
