Cannot create new task in outlook

When I try to create a new task, at the click of the save&close button I get
a pop-up window with an error message that says, "Could not complete the
operation. One or more parameter values are not valid." I have been using
the same PC and installed software for a year. I have also been using the
same Windows Mobile 2003 PocketPC that syncs with my outlook. I also noticed
that any new task I create in the PocketPC will not sync to the PC outlook.
Also, I have been using Pocket Informant instead of Pocket Outlook for the
last one year.
