Cannot create OLAP Cube

After a letter perfect install of Projec Server, I am testing the OLAP
features. The cube does not create in the Analysis services. I ran through
the "OLAP cube generation may not be successful in Microsoft Project Web
Access" (KB 324838) with no success.
I then ran through "How to troubleshoot issues with Online Analytical
Processing (OLAP) cubes when you work with Microsoft Project Server"
(KB822220). In the steps of "trouble shoot cube creation",
1. An XML file will appear in the \ViewDrop folder on the Project
Server-based computer, or on the server that is running the Views
Notification Service if it has been offloaded.
2. Open the Windows Task Manager and confirm that the VWNotify.exe process
is using CPU Time and that Mem Usage is increasing.

First, no XML file appears in the ViewDrop folder. Second, the VWNotify.exe
doesn't change. So I've narrowed down the problem but what do I do?
Thanks,

I found a fix. First, I did not realize that if I chose to "Update Now" the
process would kick off immediately. It was waiting for the scheduled time.
(Go figure.) Any how, the real problem was the OLAP user account could not
authenticate to the OLAP service. This was caused by security option
differences between the Project Server and the SQL server. Earlier, to
provide Win2k Pro computers of another domain access, I adjusted the NTLM
authentication on the Project Server and Windows SharePoint servers. These
authentication settings did not make the OLAP service happy. After matching
the settings on the SQL server, the OLAP cube was created. Woo-hoo!

What errors do you see in the server application event log? What status is
displayed on the Manage Enterprise Features Page?
