Cannot create tasks in Outlook Tasks Folder

As part of the Office 2003 upgrade, Outlook was upgraded to 2003 and now I
can't create new tasks in the Tasks folder. I keep getting a message that
says...

"Please save task order by clicking Save Task Order on the actions menu in
the Tasks folder. The view must not be filtered or grouped for Save task
order to be available. Could not complete the operation. One or more
parameter values are not valid."

I followed the recommendations in the "Microsoft Knowledge Base Article -
292894", but the solution didn't work. I next created a new "My Tasks"
folder and I'm able to create and save tasks. My problem is that the new
(My Tasks) folder is not available for sync with my PDA nor my Smart. I
tried copying tasks from the new folder (My Tasks) to the original Tasks
folders but it didn't work. I got the same message as above.

I'm not sure if this is an upgrade issue or a known Outlook issue. If anyone
knows of a solution/work around for this issue please email me.

Thanks in advance for any response.
