Cannot customize Outlook Today

We have run into incidents where when we click on
the "Customize Outlook Today" button nothing happens (it
does not go to the cusotmize dialog box). This occurs on
Outlook 2000 (SP3) running on Windows 2000 (SP4). I
believe I read somewhere this may be related to a recent
Windows update that had an IE scripting fix. Any ideas?

The popular reason for this seems to be installing the Q813489 patch (April
2003 Cumulative Patch) for Internet Explorer.

The reg edit fix from the IE patch article did the
trick...we are back up and running again. Thanks Patrick!

Try Knowledge base article 820575. The fix does work.
