Cannot delete a project.

I've created a new version for projects, and then open and save the project
as a new version, then try and delete the old version. I get the following
error. I've tried installing and using PSCleaner, and have other issues there
as well. Can anyone offer any advice as to what it's talking about?

The error is telling you the truth. You cannot delete the Published version
of the project when other versions exist for that project. When you want to
use alternate versions of a project,

project. When you use alternate versions, the Published version of the
project is the production or "working" version of the project. The
Published version is the only version in which you can publish task
assignments and it is the version that receives the actuals from team
members. You use alternate versions for archival purposes and are not the
