cannot delete an empty thicket folder

I found a folder in my web, labelled xxxx_files. It is
empty. When I try to delete the folder, I am
told, "server error: this folder is part of a thicket.
You may not perform move, copy, rename, or delete
functions on it. Instead please perform the appropriate
operation on the main thicket file: xxxxx.htm"
I've never heard of a thicket (clutter is a better word),
and microsoft support for FrontPage 2002 doesn't even
contain the word thicket, nor does my file. How do I get
rid of this empty folder?

thanks

thanks for the help. I didn't realize it was a Windows
feature rather than a FrontPage one. I was able to rename
the main file, then delete the unwanted folder; then I
named the main file back to what I wanted.
