Running
Windows XP Pro
Outlook 2002
I am stand-a-alone - no exchange server, etc.
I get this message when attempting to delete a contact: "The messaging interface has returned an unkown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook."
Same issue existed under Windows 2000 with Outlook 2000 - that is why I've migrated to XP - hoping for a cure.
Only occurs with certain contacts and I have not been able to discover a pattern. Under Outlook 2000, I was synching a Handspring and two cell phones. Maybe I created an ownership issue - but, again, no clear pattern. I have not installed any synching software on XP.
I've seen others cite this problem - but have not seen a final answer. Please help - I'm out of hair!
