Cannot delete / postpone / alter birthday reminders

I am having great problems with my calendar at present. I cannot delete /
postpone / alter birthday reminders, and hence they come up every time I open
Outlook. Unfortunately, this list is growing every day, and is getting
rather long.

I am running Outlook 2002 at work, Outlook 2003 at home, and am linked on
Plaxo. I understand that Plaxo is probably the reason for this, but
uninstalling plaxo has not helped and the problem remains.

Please help.

The error messages I get are:

"Cannot postpone the reminder. The end date you entered occurs before the
start date"
"There is an error snoozing the reminder "------'s birthday". Snooze
operation terminated.
"Cannot turn off the reminder. You may be reminded again. The end date you
entered occurs before the start date"
"There is an error dismissing the reminder "------'s birthday". Dismiss
operation terminated.
"Cannot open the item for this reminder. The end date you entered occurs
before the start date"

I have tried deleting these contacts, but the birthday reminders remain.

Try starting Outlook once with the /CleanReminders switch. If you need help

Hi,

Thank you very much for your reply. It seemed to work at home (Outlook 11)
and not at work (Outlook 10).

I see they are logged as "multi-day" events, in Outlook today. Is tht
significant?

Hi,

I found another post in this forum, that explained how to go to
"view-current view-by category" and delete these errors individually. They
were all duplicates anyway, so I shall have to try avoid that in future.
