I opened a power point doc which has several excel objects.
After the ppt was opened, those excel objects were not displayed,
ie. just a blank rectangle with a small red x on the upper left corner.
When I do a slide show, the excel objects will not displayed on the screen
at all - only blanks.
When I double click the blank rectangle then the excel object will display.
This only happened on my new Dell D630C laptop with 2003 Powerpoint installed.
The same ppt doc when opened on other desktops, looks fine, the xls objects
are displayed ok. I am wondering what is wrong with the configurations of
my laptop. This is a brand new laptop ordered by my company with software
installed by the vendor.
