Cannot download SR-1 update

After downloading the o2ksr1a.exe file, I double clicked it, but only got the
response "Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Update could not download the Office
SR-1 Core Update". Several further presses of the 'Retry' button got the
same response. I have also downloaded and replaced this file with the same
response - any help would be greatly appreciated.
