Cannot drag objects

I'm having a strange problem with a file I've been working on for months now
in Visio 2007. I can no longer drag objects with my mouse. I can highlight
them and move them with the arrow keys but dragging has ceased to work. Any
ideas?

I seem to have stumbled upon my own solution. I opened another Visio diagram
to work on. After I closed it, I tried this one again and the dragging now
seems to work again. Go figure.
