Cannot edit Enterprise Resources

T Steven Jones

When I attempt to edit any of my enterprise resource I get a message that
reads "The enterprise resource cannot be checked out at the moment. Please
try it again later."

I have went into the admin area of project server to check in the
resource(s) but no resources show in the grid. I have also queried the
"MSP_RESOURCES" table in my project server database but none of the items
have the field "RES_CHECKEDOUT" set to 1 (all are currently zero.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

an attempt to edit is made. They are:

I will try the built in account. Thanks for taking time to reply!

Try doing this using the built-in Administrator account in Project Server
and let us know what happens. Also report any corresponding errors that show
up in the application event log.

Gary:

I did try using the built-in admin account, but receive the same error. This
error is not something that we have gotten until a couple of weeks ago, but I
have not been able to track down what may have been inadvertantly changed.

Steven:

I'm inclined to think that there may be some corruption in the database.
Clearly, we've got a failure to connect properly. What is your service pack
level?
