Cannot edit equation or mathtype object.

Hello
I use Microsoft Office 2003 with SP2 and Mathtype 6.0

I can without problem create a mathtype object and save it. But when I
doubleclick the object because i want to edit it i get this error: "This
document cannot be opened. The user doesn't have sufficient userrights"
(translated from danish).
I do have administratorrights and the document isnt write-only.

When i try using Microsoft Equation editor (with mathtype uninstalled) i get
the same error.

I have tried reinstalling both mathtype and office (also deleting any
remaining files in common files or application data).

I have also tried with Office XP and Office 2000, but that didnt work..

Similar problems have been known to be caused by the Office Plug-in for
Norton AntiVirus, which can be disabled without compromising your security
provided you leave NAV Auto-Protect enabled.

Hallo.

I use MathType 6.0 and MS Word 2002.

I edit a big MS Word document with many MathType objects. During work MS Word was crashed. When I have restarted MS Word and reopened my document I saw that whole content of document was saved. But when I try to edit any MathType object (the objects have been created before crash) I cannot do it. I see the message box: "MathType has detected an error in UILib.RunDispatch..."

How can I solve this problem?

Thank's for any help..

It's hard to tell from your post whether you're using the most current
version of MathType. MathType 6.0c is the most current version, and
you can upgrade for free from version 6.0. To upgrade, go to
www.dessci.com/en/dl and download the new version. Your MathType 6.0
product key will work, but you must download the same language version
that you purchased. If you purchased the German version of 6.0, the
product key will not work on the English language version of 6.0c.

If that doesn't solve the problem, or if you're already using 6.0c,
write back and let us know.
