Cannot edit my macros

Hello...

At some point (not sure when this started to occur), I lost the
ability to edit my macros. They "Edit" button is grayed out.

I have administrative rights -- this is a home computer, and I am the
only user.

I am using Word 2002 and Windows XP, both SP3.

Coincidentally (or maybe not), my Outlook lately always requires me to
select the radio button to open attached Word files. The "Alway ask
before opening this type of file" box is checked, but grayed out so I
cannot uncheck it.

Clearly some security setting has been inadvertantly changed.
