cannot empty the clippboard error message

Hi.
Running Office2003 and one of my users have suddenly experience that he is
not able to copy and paste. The following error message appears: Cannot empty
the clippboard".
The funny part. The clippboard is empty.

Thank you.
The user that I am experience this problem is running a stand alone lap-top
with WindowsXP and Office2003.
So I think that this solution ufortnartly will not help me.
Any other ideas?
