Cannot enter '&' or '(' in Saved Export Descriptions. Bug?

I have some saved exports in my Access 2007. I clicked on the
description to edit it, but I cannot put '&' or '(' characters in
there, it acts as if I hit Enter. I can live with it, but what are the
significance of those 2 characters anyways? Does this happen to you
also?

makes sense. they're both reserved characters in VBA, and you can't
use them in other object names either.
