I have the same problem but with word 2007. I posted some messages here
before and I was given the impression to contact my vendor which was Digital
River. Problem started when I entered the product key from the e-mail
confirmation, like a receipt really, and it says its incorrect. The digits
are 25 characters with dashes in between. I copied & pasted it, other times
I typed it out and still incorrect. I bought the package- home & student use
2007. Now the package has locked me out.

I tried to contact Product Activation Solution Centre which gave me an
invalid phone number and e-mail addresses to contact in 2 ocassions. I
visited the Digital River website, went to the customer service, got myself a
password, registered myself in, to find my billing information, the same
product key and an option to download the microsoft word 2007- saying its my
'new' software. I already downloaded it before- problem- it has locked me
out. When I click- 'check invoice' it goes to a page where it assesses my
eligibility for a home & student software. When I browse through the Digital
River website-it gives me information about how to locate the product key-
but nothing on getting a valid product key. I purchased the package this Dec
6 with a debit card, and it locked me out last week. Could that be a two
week trial?

I'm not sure what to do now. I've had just about enough. Please help me
find a solution because I need my microsoft word for the holidays. I am
desperate.

Sorry if this isn't of any assistance, but I've had the same issues
(albeit for only a few minutes). When I've had problems typing in a
serial number (for Office or even Windows), I've had to look again at
the numbers I'm typing. If there is a zero, try typing in the letter
O. If you think it is the letter B, try typing in the numeral 8. See
what I mean?

Every time I have had problems with serial numbers, it has either been
a typo, forgetting all five characters, or confusing characters that
look a bit alike.

Hope this helps.
