I have a regular need to create a catalog document in Word 2008 by importing data from Filemaker Pro 10. I have no trouble importing all of the data, but my trouble comes when I need to filter the records imported. I go through the import process, and when prompted select to filter the records. I am careful to enter the exact criteria for import. In my case, I have a field called "Released" that contains either the value "Released" or "Unreleased". I select the "=" and type "Unreleased", and then do the import. However, Word still imports all records - not just the "Unreleased" records.
I have looked at a couple of other discussions concerning the filemaker file format. My database is saved as an FP7 file, if that makes any difference.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
