Hi all,
I have Office 2003, validated by MS, in Outlook I want to set up folders so
the recieved mail is sent directly to certain folders, but for the life of me
I cannot find "rules and alerts" in th TOOLS menu.
Any help please.

Are you using Friendly menus? If so, click or hover over the down arrow at
the bottom of the menu. Otherwise, just click the Rules and Alerts icon
that's on the Advanced toolbar.

You missed a really simple step - menus are context sensitive. So first
select the Inbox. Then Tools| Rule and Alerts.

Well sort of, I had to do a non desctructive recovery and reinstall the
Office ,all is well now, but Gateway tech online support has no idea how to
recover the data that was put in backup by the recovery utility. I will try
them once again when I have sometime, I think there was a virus in one of the
email.
