Getting the infernal cannot find server message.
error 3176.
Of course, I have been getting email perfectly fine for last year without issue, and the internet connection is working fine, so I don't know what to say.

But, I'm effectively out of business until this is resolved, so any ideas appreciated. thanks!

It's possible your ISP upgraded their servers and you didn't receive or
didn't find their announcement about changes to your account settings. I
would call them to verify the SMTP settings and what advanced settings you
need.

The other possibility is corruption of your files. Go to System Preferences
--> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the New User by logging out/in
or use Fast User Switching. Open Entourage and enter the account. Set to
"leave on server." and test. If it works in the new User then you know the
settings are correct. The next step is to test your User's account. Follow
the steps here.

Let me know what you find.

It's typical and causes users to waste all sorts of time trying to find out
what's wrong.
