Cannot Find 'View Timesheet Summary' Page

From the Resource top-level menu, I am taken to the Resource Center page. Ac
cording to the Microsoft's Security Group Guide, we are supposed to find a c
ouple of action item options that my current system is NOT showing:

* view timesheet summary
* Approve Timesheets

As a user, I am added to the Administrators and Resource Managers security t
emplate groups. I did post a project on project server as a project manager
and updated the timesheet as an assigned resourse for this project. Yet I ca
nnot find the view Timesheet Summary page from the resource center view nor
can i find the action links mentioned above. RBS has not been implemented.
Any ideas? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance.

From the Resource Center, you want to click "View Resource Assignments" then
select the resources and then Timesheet Summary view. Approve timesheets is
dependent on setting that feature on, which is typically done with Managed
time periods. This feature is turned off by default.

You must use the Managed Time Periods feature along with RBS before you can
use those features. Hope this helps.

in it for us yet; we are operating a small company (40 employees). I dont
know if this is a reason why the Approve Timesheet and View Timesheet Summary
features are missing. We rely soley on users/groups security settings. Are we

Thank you for your input; its highly appreciated. Actually, this process is
exactly the way we've been generating this view. From Microsoft's Security
Group Guide,on the other hand, it shows the View Timesheet Summary action
link on the Resource Center page and its not on ours. We got a sense that
this is a default link.
