I have 2 computers and 3 email accounts (one POP3 and two IMAP).
My desktop is running Outlook 2003 and is fine
My laptop is running Outlook 2007. I cannot access my IMAP accounts on the
laptop, though I can send messages fine.
When I click on the inbox I get a message saying: "The messaging interface
has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists restart outlook", and
a second pop up saying "Failed to update headers".
If I click on the + sign alongside inbox to see the other folders I get a
message saing "cannot expand the folder"
I have tried deleting the relevant accounts and then recreating them - and
everything seems to be fine until i close outlook. When I restart it I get
the same problem.
I have no problems with my POP3 account nor any with the calendar, BCM or
any other aspect of Outlook - it is just the inability to obtain new or view
previously received messages
