Cannot get Office 2003 Updates

I am continually getting the "updates are ready for your computer" message.
when I go to install the updates for Office Pro 2003 it says they were not
able to be installed, and I also et a message that windows installer cannot
be accessed. What can I do to get my updates and access the windows installer

Your Office Source Engine service is probably disabled... Try the first step
from this article and then try the update again:
