Cannot get to Remote Website to Publish

I have FP03. I was ok up until last time. I think I screwed something up.
After I did a publish, I did a Remote to Local. I thought you should do that
to update your files?
Anyway, now I did an update and when ready to publish, get that share point
msg rather than the sign in & password u usually get first. Then I ge the msg
that I can't connect to the Remote website. I know I have the sharepoints &
all and my server person says there is nothing wrong on their end and that
it's in my computer. I have pictures of the error msgs if needed. I don't
know anyone who knows about websites to come over to my home and help and I
need help please. Thank you.

Don't use the Publish Button in the menus
Switch to the Remote Web Site View and set your remote web site properties to open your remote web site
