Cannot group objects in organization chart. Why?

I have a org chart created in vision and do edit/select all ,
shape/Grouping/Group but am greated with a "Doing" and the grouping doesn't
happen. How do I fix this or don't I?

BTW..It's visio 2000 SR1

Some Visio diagram types do not allow grouping. I believe Org Chart is one
of these.
