I am trying to be able to import a table from an html file I have
loaded in a subfolder of our main website. I am able to open the html
file with no problem in a browser. However, when I go to File -> Get
External Data -> Import, select "HTML Files" and enter the url of the
html file I get two errors:
1. Internal Internet Error
2. "The Microsoft Jet Database engine could not fing the object '<URL
ommitted>'. Make sure teh object exists and that you spell its name and
path correctly."
If I put the file on a local drive and access it through the file
system, I have no problem importing the data. This only occurs when
attempting to pull the file from the web server.
I've seen other posts that are similar but they are wanting to LINK to
an HTML table, where I just want to do periodic downloads to the app I
am creating for our customers.
Any help you can provide is appreciated.
Thanks!
