Cannot insert duplicat key row error???

I have a project 2003 schedule. When trying to save from Project 2003 client
i get the following error message...(i have not applied sp1 for project 2003)

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]
Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'MSP_TASKS' with unique index
'I_MSP_Tasks'

What is going on here? thank you dave

This indicates a duplicate record in the database.

MVP?

I can tell from the error message that it has something to do with duplicate
record.

Has anyone else had this problem?
What is the cause of the problem?
How can I correct this situation?
Where can I look for information on how to fix this problem?
