I just purchased a new PC with XP including a demo version of Standard Office
2003. This demo version did not include Access so I tried to install from my
Office 97 CD instead.
It returns the error: "MS Access can't start because there is no licence for
it on this machine"
Until my work office upgrade to Office 2003 I would prefer to run the older
version at home but am happy to upgrade if this is the problem.
However, when I install the complete Office 97 I find that Excel, Word,
PowerPoint all work fine.
Can anybody advise if they believe this problem is with (1) my version of
Access or (2) my machine?
