Due to a major disk crash I had to reformat and reinstall Vista Ultimate and
all other application on my office system. All appeared to go well except
that I cannot install and run Office Update. For instance, when I open word
and go to options/resources there is a button to run office update. When
pressed it takes me to a web site to install the new Office Update. Any
attempt eventually brings the following error message:
"To install updates from this website, you must be logged on as an
administrator or a member of the Administrators group on your computer. If
you use Windows XP, you can see if you are an administrator by going to User
Accounts in Control Panel. "
The problem is, I am logged on as Administrator
By-the-way, I am running Office 2007.
Any ideas,
Michael
