I have tried to download a personal Digital Certificate for e-mail, to
digitally sign messages in Outlook 2003
when IE is sending the certification request, it gives
the following error "Cannot create certification request."
If I request the cert and downlaod and install on another machine,
export it then try and import it onto the machine in question I get
"the private key that you are importing might require a cryptographic
service provider that is not installed on your system"
The only MS info I can find applies to Win2k SP2 and says to get a
newer Service pack.
I am running WIndows XP SP2 fully patched and freshley installed 2 days ago.
ANy one got any suggestions
