Hi Juan,
Installing the "binary" versions of Office updates
requires that you have Office media available for the
version of Office that you have installed (looks like you
have the Pro edition installed)
You can do one of the following:
1) Uninstall OffXP Pro, install OffXP Std w/the CD that
you have, then install the SP1 and SP2 updates
-or-
2) Install the "full file" version of the SP2 update
(Mainsp2ff.msp) that is included in oxpsp2a.exe. It can
be obtained from a link in the Office Resource Kit
Journal topic, "Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)" -
http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/xp/journ/Oxpsp2a.htm
Once you've downloaded the oxpsp2a.exe file (~50MB), open
it to extract the contents to a temporary folder, then
double click the Mainsp2ff.msp file found in the
temporary folder to install the patch.
Thanks!

Installation program calls for file from (proret.msi?)
from installation CDROMs. Have CDROMs, but receive error
that needed file cannot be found. Any solutions?
Is the problem happening because I have Office XP
standard? If yes, how do I update indvidual programs
(e.g., Office, Outlook, etc.)?
Thanks
